14-Year-Old Schoolboy Robs Old Woman With Cutlass (Photo)

A 14-year-old student of Bedrock Intl School, Azikoro, Bayelsa State, has been arrested for robbing a lady of her phone after attacking her with a cutlass.
The incident occurred today and the suspect identified as Ayibaye Julius, was nabbed by members of the Bayelsa State Vigilante Service.

CHRIST THE KING SUNDAY INTRODUTION AND HISTORY Christ the King Sunday celebrates the all-embracing authority of Christ as King and Lord of the cosmos. Officially called the Feast of Our Lord Jesus Christ the King, it is celebrated on the final Sunday of Ordinary Time, the Sunday before Advent. In 2015, the feast falls on November 22nd. ASUU not going on strike soon, says Ogunyemi..

Following a tweet by a handle, @Official_ASUU, the Academic Staff Union of Universities has said it does not have an official Twitter handle and has no plans of going on strike anytime soon. The user had tweeted, “Thinking of going on another three months strike action..” which received a lot of backlash, as the Nigeria Twitter community perceived the handle as the official Twitter handle of the union. The union, which spoke through its President, Prof.Biodun Ogunyemi, in an interview with our correspondent on Monday, also said it denounces the handle and was set to take further action against those operating the account. Ogunyemi said, “First, ASUU does not have an official Twitter handle. Those who are operating that handle are fraudsters. So, we are issuing a statement today to denounce that handle, and that is to enable us to take further action against those operating that account.
